THE SOLAR STIK™ SYSTEM

The Solar Stik™ is a revolutionary power generator that can be used in a wide range of applications.

The Solar Stik™ is the core component of the Solar Stik™ System.   A "Solar Stik™ System" is defined as any combination of any Solar Stik™ and Accessories operating in concert. 

When building a system, the operator can build either a Custom Solar Stik™ Solution by choosing specific components to meets the user's need, or purchase a popular "turn-key" Solar Stik™ System Package.

Lightweight, rugged and extremely portable, the Solar Stik™ System is designed for a single task: to generate "usable" power. 

The System is designed to help the user implement the best power technologies into the proper applications.

The Solar Stik™ is so versatile that it could be used as an "everyday" power generator for a wide spectrum of applications.

Each Solar Stik™ solar array can power applications that use up to 1 Kilowatt-hour of power per day.  If additional power is required, the Solar Stiks™ System can be scaled to meet the demand, or the Solar Stik™ Breeze may be employed.

The "Plug & Play" nature of the system allows easy transport and rapid deployment.  It can be operated as a 'stand-alone' power generator by using the Solar Stik™ Power Pak, or adapted to any application where there is a 12 or 24 Volt battery.

Power for Professionals

The Solar Stik™ System can perform as the "primary" power generator for applications ranging from recreational to tactical, or to simply keep life's necessities operating during times of crisis. The system will support medical, logistical, and tactical equipment, or simply a computer, small refrigerator, television, radio, fan, rechargeable devices, or lights.

Solutions

Built in the USA, The Solar Stik™ is designed to be a one-time purchase. There are no "upgrades" or "planned obsolescence" built into the system. The panels are rated for 25 years of power production, and all Solar Stik™ components are built for a 25 year life as well. The panels, the Mast, and the mount assemblies are all built to be used in the most extreme conditions: excessive desert heat, salt water, snow, ice, UV from the sun; it is totally impervious to the elements.

Additionally, all components of the Solar Stik™System are field serviceable, and are designed to be rapidly adapted to different applications.

When the Solar Stik™ is used with accessories such as the Power Pak or multiple mounting systems, it becomes a truly versatile power platform that can "multi-task".

Redefining a Solar Panel's Ability to Generate Power

Solar panels require three ingredients to generate power at their maximum ability:

1.  Direct Sunlight

2.  Cool Temperatures (good air circulation around the panels)

3.  MPPT Charge Controls

Most solar panel installations are flat and on a hot surface (like a roof or the ground) which often results in high operating temperatures. Also, the inability of most systems to aim their solar panels toward the sun results in a short, daily window of direct sunlight exposure.

The Solar Stik™ has two 50 Watt solar panels, attached to an internationally patented mounting system, which provides good air circulation and unparalleled maneuverability.  Additionally, the Solar Stik™ System employs MPPT Technology.

The combination of these three ingredients results in a net power gain of typically more than 100% in a 24 hour period when compared to a traditional "fixed" solar panel system.

Unlike Any Other "Solar Generator"

The Solar Stik™ was designed from the start as a truly man-portable system, not requiring a forklift or trailer to move it into operation.

The Terra Solar Stik™ can be purchased with select accessories tailored to the user's needs, or as a complete "turn-key" package, ready for immediate operation right out of the box. All systems require no additional purchases, engineering, or permits for operation.

The Marine Solar Stik™ System can usually be installed to a vessel in just a few hours.

The Solar Stik's™ ability to support additional equipment and purposes (such as surveillance equipment, radar, or wind generators) add to its value and usefulness.

It can also be interfaced with, or work in conjunction with other traditional power sources such as fuel-driven generators or even the local power grid.  The PRO-Verter™ will marry the system to any available AC power source, storing DC power into the Power Paks while it is available.

Need More Power?

The Solar Stik™ System is expandable for applications where large power requirements are necessary. Multiple Solar Stiks™ can be "daisy-chained" together to create a large power generator for heavy duty applications, and Power Paks may be expanded by connecting other Power Paks or other 12 or 24 Volt batteries using cables, increasing the usable power reserve. System expansion is a simple "Plug and Play" procedure.

The Pro-Series & MIL-Series Solar Stik™ Systems

The Pro-Series & MIL-Series Solar Stik™ System has many enhanced features, ranging from Hybrid Solar & Wind power generation to fully-programmable charge controls.

These upgrades were originally implemented for the U.S. Army's Rapid Equipping Force, and are now available to the consumer.
