THE DECK MOUNT OVERVIEW

The Deck Mount Kit is designed for a full "custom" installation.

Included in this kit is only an aluminum socket with locking handle, and a trim ring that is to be welded into place by the installer.

In purchasing this unit, the vessel owner takes full responsibility for the correct completion of the install to their particular vessel.  A 24-inch Height Adapter is also available as a supplement to the Deck Mount.

This mounting kit can be used in the following configurations:

Through-the-Deck mounting

Deck-Stepped Mounting


and/or

Full Custom Transom-Mounting

The possibilities are only as limited as the installer's imagination. We have designed each Solar Stik™ to be free-standing and entirely rotatable, but depending on the installation location, this may not always be possible. We do recommend that the Solar Stik™ be able to rotate at least 180 degrees to provide full operative ability.

Because use of the Deck Mount usually results in a loss of Mast height from the deck, careful considerations must be made. Manuals and Dimensional Drawings are available for download to aid in determining how to install the Deck Mount Kit.

The Solar Stik™ is as "temporary", or as "permanent" as the boat-owner wishes. Once the Deck Mount is installed, the Solar Stik™ may be assembled and functioning, or removed and stowed,

in less than 5 minutes.
