THE TRANSOM MOUNT OVERVIEW

The Transom Mount for the Solar Stik™ is purchased as an incomplete kit for installation to a boat or other application where the installation of a traditional solar array is challenged by limited surface area.

Transom Mounted Solar Stik™

The Solar Stik™ is designed to be as "temporary", or as "permanent" as the operator needs it to be. Once the Transom Mount is installed, the Solar Stik™ may be assembled and functioning, or removed and stowed, in less than 5 minutes.

Mariners are creative, and the Marine Transom Mount Kit provides the sailor with a versatile way to install the Solar Stik™ to their vessel's unique shape and construction.  All three Transom Mount Support Arms are constructed of T5052 aluminum, which will accept custom bending, for proper installation in a challenging location.

Installation Example

Once a location has been chosen, it is STRONGLY recommended that the Solar Stik™ be professionally installed. However, it is in the realm of ability for many mariners to install this unit correctly. 

A careful and detailed installation of this unit is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. If you are not capable of performing a proper installation yourself, please seek professional help at a nearby boatyard or shop of your choice.

The installation process for the Solar Stik™ Transom Mount should take about three to four hours to complete. 

Manuals and Dimensional Drawings are available for download to aid in determining how to install the Transom Mount Kit.

We have designed each Solar Stik™ to be free-standing and entirely rotatable, but depending on the installation location, this may not always be possible. We do recommend that the Solar Stik™ be able to rotate at least 180 degrees to provide full operative ability.
