ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla., June 26, 2018—Solar Stik®, Inc. has acquired all tangible capital assets held by EMX International, LLC / SMCI, LLC in a deal announced today by Solar Stik CEO Brian Bosley. The acquisition includes the manufacturing equipment used for EMX’s production of mobile hybrid power platforms, thermal imaging camera systems, and thermal weapon sight products. It also includes EMX’s Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings (CARC) application license.
“Acquiring EMX’s engineering assets and production equipment is a win-win situation for all parties, allowing us to better serve our existing military customer base,” Bosley explained. “We’ve done business with EMX for years and are grateful for their service and the opportunities this acquisition avails for everyone.”
Included in the purchase is a complete machine shop suite with a 5 axis CNC, vertical milling machine, and an industrial 3D printer. The Solar Stik Team will bring this precision tooling and engineering equipment online immediately at its St. Augustine, Florida, manufacturing headquarters. Other acquired infrastructure will be put into service following build out of Solar Stik’s new engineering facility.
